NO, on the dried hides of animals killed by the Jersey Devil.

Syb was trying to use a fire steel, till he broke the fire steel. So he gets an A+ for effort.

Yeah, I'm a good cook, an outstanding Aarn model but I'm no pyromaniac. We had great weather with more stars out than I've ever seen in Jersey. The fire was pretty epic as was Silvr's video and commentary.

I think it was 1996 when I last sat and stared at a camp fire. Your fire was a **** fine fire indeed and there was some good fun camp fire talk! Nice walk out to the fire tower, or is that, far tower. Seemed like a long way, the pace was on too. The view from the top of the tower was a sea of pine trees that went on and on forever. Great commentary and videos...Thanks SilvrSurfr!

Does BATONA allow hunting? I am looking to get out this weekend or next and NJ is in the middle of deer hunting (season). This sound like a good option if no hunting is allowed.

    BTW great videos!

I saw people with guns, so I think the answer is yes. Kayak Karl was saying they had to hike into designated hunting areas, so I doubt they'll be shooting at you.
Still, wearing some orange might be advisable.
