    Got the nx-250 today

I purchased the nx-250 from Clark on the 22nd of Nov, it arrived today (29th Nov). So thanks to Clark for the fast fast despatch, the shipping cost to Australia was great and the arrival date exceeded my expectations, i almost said to my wife 'what's that doing turning up it should be 3 days away?'.

Have to go set it up now, thanks again Clark

thanks guys your all too kind, well i did get to open the box and pull it all out and have a read .....i have no clue about hammocks so i sat in my chair, told my 5 kids about a thousand times to leave me alone and stop asking questions and eventually experimented with setting it all up wrong

then i set it up right (did this under my carport), its still hanging and im going to put a night in it tonight to see how we go.

no underquilt just the sleeping bag, its quite humid in melbourne australia tonight but a bit of wind so im interested in how it goes and shall post up my findings, btw im not putting anything in the pockets either and im wearing only a tshirt and shorts.

i have put some time hangin in it and i had my 6ft 7" 110kg friend hang in it comfortably according to him, he's a big man, so impressed.

might have to use it a bit and put up a decent vid review on my youtube channel eventually.

im already looking at the suspension and thinking, hmmmmmm lighter, stronger, more compact, hmmmmm what can i do? dutch clips, whoopie slings hmmmmmm...so we shall have to see how that goes.

i bought the tree straps and the sil nilon sealer btw does everyone recommend sealing the hammock and rain fly?

anyways im off to bed in it and we shall see how it goes, report back soon, cheers Doz

    I have a NX-250 as well as a HH and a WBBB

but I have to say that the arched shape that results from the hoops..........pleases me greatly. Can't explain it any better - maybe it is akin to being inside a vaulted room. It has a sense of "airyness" and roominess. I would be surprised if you are not pleased as well.

    Camper1:
Enjoy the CJH NX-250 and please report on how your first night out went. You only need to seam seal the tarp. Make sure that when you seam seal the tarp is pitch, this way the sealer gets into the holes where the thread is as well.
