I ordered 8 yards, I was adding the length of 1 side so many times in my head I forgot about the width.

I'm curious as to what made you decide to not do cat cuts. Could you explain your reason for a straight cut winter tarp? I thought a tighter pitch could be had with cat cuts. Just askin.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.
Ok... I feel better now...
In this case I would make the tarp a basic rectangle of 10ft x 12ft. still do the 6ft tie out and the pull outs at 5ft and so on.
I have made two tarps like this and function fine. you just have a small amount of overlap for the doors. that's what the extra foot on each side is for.
or
you can sew on the 1 foot door flap to the 10x12 or 10x11 tarp. you'll just need to order another yard of material.

I didnt feel I needed to with the panel pulls, but I might put a cat cut on the bottom edge between the two tie out points.
your most welcome. I'm glad I could help.
Most likely straight for the door ends.
I hope you can do pictures when you are finished with the tarp. It all sounds fine to me.
