Fixed the pull outs. What a difference it makes.

How far down, away from the ridgeline were the new pull outs placed.

I'm about to make a 10'x ~8' tarp and will be adding pull outs. Just trying to learn from those who have done it before.

I tried 18" from ridgeline 5' centered but they were too high, I ended up with 22" away from ridgeline.

But, your tarp dimensions are smaller so maybe 18" might work for you.

I just sewed them at 20" so I split the difference. We'll see tomorrow how it ends up. Thanks, BodhiKnight.

The pull outs worked great at that height, but should have been a little closer together horizontally.

The cat cut is 6.5" at the widest part of the curve.
