    Where to get ripstop nylon

I've read Ed Speer's book on hammock camping and have been to the TTTrailgear website to buy some ripstop nylon to make a hammock, but their 1.9 ripstop is out of stock. Does anyone have any recommendations for a DIY hammock noob as to where to get ripstop at a reasonable price? Also, I'm 6'1" and weigh around 170-175 - do I need to get 1.9, or would I be fine with 1.1? I'd like to keep the fabric as wide as possible (around 65") to make things as comfy as I can get them. I've tried to find some other places on line, but I'm not completely sure what to look for or be wary of and I also haven't been able to find sheets that are much wider than 50". Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I tend to go to my man Scott at DIYgearsupply.com. And 1.1 should do you just fine at your weight (you're very close to me).

DIY Gear Supply seems to have drastically better prices than other places, from what I've seen. I've also only ever ordered one batch of nylon and it was from them, but you know, I looked around a bit.

I have purchased from a few sources, but always go back to DIY Gear supply. Despite Scott's humility, he has good prices and great shipping speed.

His 1.1 olive 2nds is great fabric for a hammock, quilt, or anything else...
