    Sierra Sniveller Overstuffed options

I'm thinking about ordering a sierra sniveller from the Jacks. I'm looking at the dimensions as compared to the older version and it's a bigger quilt but I dont think there is any more down in it. I like my quilts full of down so I know I want an extra ounce...but do I want two extra? Any of you guys have overstuffed sierra snivellers that can give their opinion?

The new ones are 52" at the head and 42" at the foot. The older style was 48" on both ends. It's probably about the same if not less area depending on the taper.

I do not have one of the new models, but I do have a No Sniveler and an Old Ragg Mtn. Both of them seem to loft pretty well, and the Jacks's already overstuff them. I've found both of mine to work well with the standard amount down to the stated ratings.
"We provide a 15-22% overstuff factor in all our quilts. This over stuff compensates for deviations from certified standards and it provides for field variations in humidity from laboratory rating and testing standards. It also reduces down shifting beyond normal expectations."
