Greetings, I think I am back!!!

    Hello all,

Sorry that I have been gone for so long, life called. I am still VERY busy going to Hospitals, but there is a lull. Amanda is a sewing machine on the sewing machine , and I am gonna get my new gear soon and head out! The weather here is great, and I need to get in the woods, especially after this last month.

Oh yeah, this is my 500th post, yeah me . Thanks for everyone checking up on us, you all have been very encouraging.

Precha Man- I am down for some hanging in the coming weeks. I am between jobs right now. Was going to go to Richland Creek, but it is major landslide country, tried going last weekend and at the end of the road 1/2 mile from campsite there is no longer a road...just landslide.

I would be amicable to having a hiking/hanging person in the state. Maybe I could see how you hang your hammock and what not, since we don't have a lot of people I know of that are hammockers in arkansas.

We thought about going to Devil's Den today, but with the thunder in the distant, we will wait till next weekend. Anytime, I would love to get out for a little while.

Thanks for introducing me to Devil's Den. Some friends and I are going to do the Butterfield Trail on May 31 - June 1. I'd love to invite you to join us; although I know that Sunday morning hiking isn't generally on your schedule. But let me know if it might work out for you.

Sounds like your part of the country is still getting pounded -- 22 fatalities in SW Missouri and NE Oklahoma from tornadoes last night!!!! Hope the weather pattern breaks soon.

Let me know which campsite you are staying at that night and I may be able to hang with you that night. Rock Creek camp is only 4 miles from a road, and I know a shortcut from horse and ATV trails. I could hike out early maybe.

We are pretty lucky, we just got high winds, and nothing was damaged other than my lillies.

I think a good ole fashion arkansas hanging would be in order.
