I could not vote as I like both! Sewn for cold (think 32* or less) and for temps above 32* I like the snaps! JMO so take it for what it's worth!

I prefer the sewn footbox. Less fiddle factor

I just ordered a 0* Burrow and got snaps. I'll just stuff a pair of clean socks into the hole at the bottom when I draw it up. Hole closed and clean socks for in the morning.

However, in all fairness, my 20* Burrow is sewn.

My new Burrow is an 0 snap. It's my first snapper so I don't know yet. If they were the same price I would have got the sewn. I guess I just don't care how I get all puffed up.

IMHO, I'd prefer to have the quilt be able to perform at maximum efficiency for when it is at the low end of the cold spectrum.

When it is at the high end of the heat spectrum, I just stick my feet out of the footbox and lay it over me.

I'd rather have the quilt be able to keep me warmer when it's cold than be able to vent if too hot.
Exactly what I like to do.

My "Burrow" had snaps. I finally pulled one thru (my bad) the fabric at the Winter Camping Symposium. I had Stormcrow sew it shut, but kept the drawstring intact for venting. Love it this way. Thank you Adam for the stellar service.

Exactly. I have two underquilts when the girlfriend goes with me, or I have a top quilt and underquilt when she doesn't. snaps for me. We're usually car camping when we're together, so we just use sleeping bags for top quilts.
