Yeah, I agree about the difficulty. Still, the great outdoors should be there for everyone, including the hunters.

But, on the other hand, it's nice to have places to go where you don't have to wear blaze orange all the time to avoid being filled with small pieces of metal.

this site, Gainesville's is 5 degrees, nineteen minutes. That increases by about a tenth of a degree (or six minutes) per year. So, check how old your maps are...
