    What also works is using a sleeping pad in your bag. You can get a R-4 Trail Pro Plus Thermarest that's relatively light and compact for as cheap as 60.00 online and gives you a nice backup if you have a hammock failure. Easy cheap way to get out there camping. Also some good poncholiner UQ videos on here but the pad will take you lower in temps.

    Experimented with hanging the entire rig a bit today. Need to do quite a bit of tweaking. The whole rig needs to be hung higher, for one. Biggest thing is that I need the trees to be farther apart if I'm using the tarp. Definitely looks like this is going to work though.
