What type of fabric are your hammocks made from? Cotton yarn? Synthetics? Are they mildew proof, etc? I was looking on your site...

I love both your stands... the in house furniture is cool, and the floating one with the sails is really sweet.

Welcome to the conversation and all the best on your business and outreach.

    Hi dejoha,

That is one of my FAVORITE questions to answer, because our hammocks are some of the most durable ones on the market. The yarn is weatherproof and colorfast, so it won't fade, pill or deteriorate if you leave it outside for a whole "hammocking season." It is also quick-drying, so it's not susceptible to mold or mildew. Your trees are in luck!

To answer your other question, we use a high grade acrylic yarn (it's incredibly soft) that we source from a local mill.

    weight & dimensions

    Hi Slo!

We offer hammocks in three sizes (King/Queen/Sitting) and they all pack down into our signature Parachute Tote made from re-purposed parachute material (remnants that we source from the factories, otherwise discarded as waste!).

Sitting Hammock = weighs 1.3 lbs
Queen Hammock = weighs 1.7 lbs
King Hammock = weighs 2.8 lbs

The Queen hammock is 7.5 feet wide and the King Hammock is 9 feet wide.

You can check out all the production specs, including total weaving time and capacity, here: http://yellowleafhammocks.com/products/

Here's a pic of the tote and one of our Queen Hammocks:

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Also, we're running a promotion right now where you can design your own hammock at $65 off the regular price. If you haven't already, check it out here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...-do-good-relax
