Warbonnet Traveler hammock

Maybe I'm just weird ... or weirder than I already know ... I find the Traveler and my ENO DN to be easy to tune in for the sweet spot. If I had to choose between the two I'd go with my Traveler. The only thing I'd change about it would be to get a 1.1 double instead of the 1.7 double like I have.

I ended up selling mine after a 4 nighter in it.. couldn't find that sweet spot either.. went back to my ENO dbl which for me, is like a giant sweet spot

It's a terrificly made hammock though. All the way around really really nice piepce of gear...

I also wonder if I'd have been more comfortable in a 1.1 dbl vs. the 1.7.. I enjoy the feel of 1.1 better and I like a little stretch it seems..

I really enjoy the lay of my traveler. I find it to be well made, comfy and very simple to set up.

If I was going to just have one I'd get the double bottom; it's great
for putting the foam pad from your backpack in.

I have a 1.1 dbl Traveler and 1.1 dbl WBBB and find the Traveler the most comfortable of the two. Love the simplicity (insulation adjustment, entry/exit), miss the shelf. Since, as AS said, they are the same actual size the lay must be affected by the skeeter net on the BB somehow (or I am suffering from a placebo effect

). That said the new WBBB has a tie out to snug the skeeter net out of the way and is quite comfortable.

For my travel hammock the WBBB is the go to just for versatility...like shelf and skeeter net. Both hammocks are very well made and suspension choice plus SRL make them very good choices for your buck. If only one? Make it the WBBB IMO.

Dawg, I agree...when the net on the bird is zipped up, it provides tension on the hammock edges, affecting the lay a small amount.

I have the 1.7 dlb traveler and find it very comfy and very easy to setup.

Na, You aren't weired...You just ain't right! But I'm right there with ya!
I tried a WBBB many times but when I got in a plain old gathered end like the Traveler is where I found my sweet spot. It's simple, classic and a no brainer.
