This thread deserves a sticky, so that noobs can be referred to it when they ask, "What's the best xxxxxxxx?"

I called Brandon at WB today to ask for a quick shipment as I'd like to hang next weekend, the 17th and 18th, so he adjusted my shipment to ensure I'd receive it by Friday the 16th. Responsive customer service is a big plus in my book. Thanks Brandon.

I have the 1.1 dbl. been sleeping in it every night for well over a year now.. I love it..
We would be one step closer to world peace, if everyone slept in a hammock..
Thanks RootCause and I'm sure that will be the case.

I have about 10 nights in my Traveler 1.7 and I can't rave about it enough. It is my first hammock so I don't have much experience but I can roll around in it and contort myself into some really odd angles from 10 degrees off the center line to 90. I sleep somewhere in between and have never found problems getting comfortable. I use a Pappa Smurf bug sock when bugs are out but when they aren't, you can't beat sleeping under a star light night without anything in the way. The simplicity and flexibility of the design is awesome and the quality is second to none. I love it.
I have a traveler. It's very good, but like Oldgringo, have never really found a "sweet spot" with it. I had a BlackBird, but they have a bit of a problem. You can only enter it on one side and after a while, that side stretches, but the other side doesn't. It winds up being rather uncomfortable. With the traveler, and others like it, if one side stretches, you just sit on or get in on the other side and the two sides will soon be equal again.
So there is still plenty of room even without the bug net of the blackbird holding ya in?
