Quite a challenge you set yourselves there, 0.6 of a mile in under 6 hours. lol I didn’t think you could do it, but ya all did, so your fitness levels must be first class! ;o) The water filter demo was interesting, it seems to work pretty well. An incredibly nice, clear and calm morning for waking up next to a lake like that. As said in the video, beautiful! It’s easy to see why you’ve been there before and no doubt will go there again.
Good, light-hearted, fun trip report that was very enjoyable to watch! Thanks for making it for us, nryche!
I like the prayer flags. Fun video . Would love to see you guys with a good knife and a Bahco Laplander saw, very light weight. Beautiful spot.

Beautiful area you get to enjoy there! Thanks so much for sharing. I've not got to backpack, yet, in this part of the country. Stokin' the dreams a bit watching your video. I'll get out there one day.
Ya'll sure know how to have fun and enjoy life!
Y'all are a hoot. Looks like you had a blast.
Hey, glad everyone has enjoyed the video. Always makes you feel like the extra work is worth it and give you inspiration for the next one.
The prayer flags belong to Kara. She does work for trail maintenance in Arizona (If I remember right) for most of the year. They all take the winters off and she spends that time with family. It was great that she brought them along to share with us.. Might have to inquire about some myself.
mbiraman, one of the challenges I set for myself on these types of outings is to try things that the average person finds in a store and/or to spend as little money as possible. I am always surprised by the items that work out great. The no name stove in that video was really $13 delivered to my door. Kane has a MSR similar to it that he spent $70 on and it doesn't even have an igniter on it. I do have a great folding saw and a OK knife. Most of the times I bring them with me, but I'm always looking and trying new things.
Really enjoyed the video. A fun, happy crew. Editing and music... very nice. I sense some film/video school training.
