    Nice, that muletape and a night testing in the woods can't come soon enough! Hopefully that bend will hold, seems easy enough to tie and untie.

    Unfortunately the knot as shown in my previous post turned out to be still too slippery. It holds but if you shuffle around and bounce, like if you were trying to get situated on top of a pad, it will slip a little. On the bright side I have one successful hang so far with a slight modification, but more time and testing necessary before I would call it feasible. On the last step I am passing the bite through both wraps in the opposite direction. So the bite will be passed in the direction toward the hammock instead of away as it is shown in the image.
