    That is what I was thinking of using. The plan was a 2" tied into a circle and used to connect the cord to the hammock pull out so less abrasion on the cuben over time.

    And you were spot on with the "curtain" idea. That is basically how I saw doing it.

    0.75 per yd^2. I've run all the weights and measures and I'm going to predict it will be about 115 grams without suspension, about 173 grams with suspension. I've already cut and done everything but the cuben fiber - it is in the mail somewhere.
