I have one of those. I played around by flipping it upside down and putting partially inflated kitchen trash bags inside the bug net then put a weather shield on the bottom. As I recall, that worked down to the 30's without anything else under me. And that was using a TQ.

What kind of hammock do you have?

Stuff a few kitchen bags sealed up with rubber bands between that and the hammock inside of the bug net. That, the pad and the three layers of sleeping bag should handle around 10 F depending on how warm you sleep. The kitchen bags and rubber bands won't add too much weight.

If you can stop at the dollar store & get one of those silver windshield guards and put it under you on top of the Thermarest that will help too. They fold up and can fit in a side pocket. Oh yeah, get a bunch of Chemical warmers too.

....and there's always the shelter...dark and dank but with a thermarest inside survivability is all but gauranteed.
Glad you reminded me of chemical warmers=honey whiskey.

Ha! My bourbon isn't made of chemicals but the corn liquor might have some from the radiator.
