Any interests in doing a winter hang at Linville gorge down at Conley Cove. I work on the weekends and can go monday thru friday pretty much any week. I was thinking about late Dec

AMCSTAY ... might be some fellows already making trips in the end of the month ... it'd be a good place to post and see. Most of the Gorge Rats jump at a chance to go to the Big Ditch and enjoy meeting new folks.

If you're thinking the Christmas week ... that's the time most folks would go ... and Conley even in winter might have more folks than most places.

Thanks for the link, i did not even know that this forum existed, I was thinking about going the 19-22, but it is looking more like the 26-29.

Quinn and I are driving up from Wilmington tomorrow and hope to be around -Conley Cove by tomorrow night. We'll be hiking south and connecting to the MST and back up Shortoff-Chimneys. Depending on our time we might loop back via Spence Ridge back to Conley Cove or north to Devil's Ridge-Jonas-Brushy Ridge then back to CC via River. 9102333173, [email protected]
