Do the Tree Slings made by GT have the same "stretching" problem as Slap Straps?

I believe the 5mm cord is still the load bearing component. The straps are just to protect the bark on the trees and as such shouldn't matter if they did stretch or not.

Is correct I own both. The GT Tree Slings are 5mm cord while the ENO Slap Straps are actual straps. The GT Tree Slings do come with straps that cover the area of cord that wraps around the tree.

And I've had zero stretch issues with the Tree Slings.

    Hope that helps.

    That helps very much, thanks

Thinking about getting the GT TS to replace my slap straps. Just wanted to make sure they didn't stretch like the SS do, or else I would be right back at square one, lol.
