So, today I was testing out my new WB gear in anticipation of a winter trip. Was testing my SMC Sno-Stakes (work great on the beach!) and messing around withe the pitch of my Superfly. Have crafted all my lines combining all the great techniques learned on the forum THANK YOU ALL! Maybe you can see in these pics - all my guy lines are prussic'd with small continuous loops, both ends of each of the lines have locked and buried eye loops, I have added tensioners, etc. All works great.
Question - when I hang my WBBB between the 15' poles - even though there seems to be plenty of sag in my ridgeline, it gets quite tight when I get in the hammock. I try that tension test whereby I "bend" the line a bit, but it very tight. Seems like the hammock has a lot of sag - almost too much - but the ridgeline goes taut when I get in. What am I missing?
