I saw mention of a group hang in another post and would like to get one together down here in lower alabama. The temps today were in the 70's and have been dying to hang with others. If we can get something rolling lets set up a date and location. Thanks

I would recommend my hometown spot of St. Stephens Park in Leroy,AL. Look at my gallery and I have several pics I took of the place not too long ago. I could get up with them and save us some spots as well. It's about 5 miles from my house.

Yea Dauphin Island would be awesome if there was anywhere to camp there besides RV park. I spent three years there at the Sea Lab.
I remember you posting about Old St Stephens and really like the look of the grounds. How many hangers could they accomodate and will they allow nice fire so I can cook?
For Old St. Stephens, I would say 10-12 would be about it. Its just a bunch of RV spots in the prime hanging area, so we'd have to buy several sopts for however many nights. I think it would get expensive for a group hang. But I could check on it. I might could work somethin out!
Agreed. If we could hang someone on Dauphin Island that would be cool but theres not a lot of places. If we can get a place nailed down we can figure out a place we'll work on a date. Ill probably be hanging a little in chickasabouge until hunting season is over and then I have access to some private wooded property in creola
