A Texans "Hat Trick" in South Carolina

I had to go to Columbia South Carolina this past 2 weeks on business.
I had opted to drive in stead of fly..so I could pack more crap that way,,,..and was able to camp at three different camp grounds while there.

The first Campground was at Sesquicentennial State Park. I wasn't able to get many pics, cause it was already dark when I would leave the office most of the time.

I have to go back soon, and plan on some more camping up there.. The company just loves my expense reports......I submit everything camp site fees, ice, firewood, ramon noodles, instant coffee, everything over night related.

I like Congaree, and it is convenient when taking the old roads north and south.

Of those 3, I could get my stuff picked up and make it to the office on time.
The bathroom and showers at Dreuher Island had HEAT in them...... man that was nice when catching a shower in the mornings.

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.
