I know that JacksRBetter will do it for the cost of the seam sealer. However, I think weird1 hit it on the head.

Bankheadboy, you could probably contact Paul before you order & arrange a small fee to cover his time to do this for you. Most of the cottage vendors will work with you like this.

I asked the question about seam sealing. Paul said it was due to a limited amount of space in a small shop. I know from last time I sealed one, you have to leave them hanging for a while so the sealer is not tacky when you fold it up. He does include a tube of sealer with it. I am not the most patient with this and I'm sure it will not look as good as it could, when I'm done with it. I thought my BDWD looked horrible after I sealed it. Now I don't even notice it anymore.
We are now ready to start our way down the Great Unknown. We are three quarters of a mile in the depth of the earth. We have an unknown distance yet to run, an unknow river yet to explore. What falls there are, we know not; what rocks beset the channel, we know not; what walls rise over the river, we know not. Ah, well! We may conjecture many things. The men talk as cheerfully as ever; jests are bandied about freely this morning; but to me the cheer is somber and the jests are ghastly. Powell 1869

Weird and Scotty are correct, space is a bit of a premium in the shop. We could do it as long as there was no rush on getting the tarp out so that we could let it hang over the weekend. Starting it just before we call it quilts for the week. Course I can't say that I can make it any better looking than anyone else...on my tarps I usually slather it on nice and thick.

Like Scotty said though we do include a tube of SilNet in the order with every tarp that goes out.

SilNet: Inside? Outside? Both? With, or without poles rigged?

Is it possible I'm overthinking this?

I usually do inside, just for looks mostly, some places recommend both.... I would do it with poles in place to get everything stretched nice and tight.

===> GREAT question! I just bought a Superfly with tie-outs, and would love to have poles for that! Would also buy this tarp as well, for variety and ...ummmm....research! That's it! Research, as well!
