I just read this piece by Paul Graham. It's a delightful expose on Trolls (written in 2008, yet still relevant today!). I just wanted to express my gratitude for the great moderators here, but also to the group for playing along and playing nice. Yes, we have some quirky rules and occasionally we get ruffled, but overall, things run smoothly.
I also think that having real world interactions, like our group hangs, is another way that encourages us to play well together, because, yes -- we are real people! We all have our flaws, shortcomings, (even shortsightedness at times), but the overall effect is a general congeniality that makes me want to come back day after day (hour after hour?).
Thanks guys!
