    Paclite 200 Rectangle bag

In travels in Canada, I found KW Surplus (Kitchener), has the above duckdown sleeping bag 25 dollars CA. Anybody have any history with this one, eh? With the size it is and goes down to, I could make a good summer TQ of it.

.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.

I personally don't, but for $25 can you really go wrong? Just remove the zipper and seam the sides, and presto your TQ is done.

Looks like a great idea if it is what it weights. Where are you able to order one from? And that 200g weight can't be right

Actually saw it in the KW surplus store in kitchener ontario today, i took down info to research when i was up there. Feels about 1 pound or so, size of the bag is as shown in the picture, I would say it cant be good to 36F, but Im looking for 50 or so, with my UQ that will be sufficient.

They don't do internet sales, and I may be going back tomorrow to pick it up.

It would work as a TQ, but I have my doubts on the warmth. It has 200g of 550 down or 7oz. HammockGear 40* TQ has 7oz of 900 fill down. To my understanding, 900 fill has way more loft for the same amount of weight, which means way more warmth. I would agree with your synopsis of not being a 36* bag. However, if you cut off the zipper and threw in another $30 in down before re-stitching (or sent it to 2QZQ for the same mod), you'd have a nice TQ for cheap.
