Yes it is! I bought that a L-O-N-G time ago ('bout 16 years ago!!), and it still looks pretty new. I also have the fleece insulation layer that matches.
My latest cold weather "outer" layer is actually made of 10 oz. cotton canvas from Empire Wool & Canvas Works. I have a full-zip version complete with coyote fur ruff! It hasn't been really cold enough this winter to pull it out, but I suspect that will change as winter deepens.

# 1,2 I made the first set over 3 years ago and only need to stitch for a thumb opening by hand
I wear out so many pairs of wool and wool blend sox, I always have some to use. They have worn well, and wash up without fraying
#3 Another set to be sewn
#4 And some made from a modified "Knotty" pattern
None of them have to be expensive, and re-purposing old socks makes sure I can have a pair in most every coat or car.
yep, me, too. Cagoule sez: Fleece Navidad!
Things fall apart, the centre will not hold
I have http://woolerina.com.au/bodymate-range/unisex/armwarmer but lost 1 =( so going to order more.
Merino at $15 and Australian made seems like a good deal to me! -free shipping too!
