    Let's see...should I finish Christmas shopping or go dumpster diving for Tyvek?
    Stores will be open all night...a lot easier to dive during the daylight.

    if you happen to be passing by when the guys are there working, stop in and as them for a piece. a lot of times they have some scraps in their trailer that they will let you have.

    Merry Christmas !

    i have a buddy who's a framing contractor.
    i asked him recently to save me the cut outs from the two big windows at the front of the house when they wrapped and trimmed the tyvek.
    he did, and set them aside where we'd talked about stashing them.
    went to get them and somebody beat me to it.
    hopefully whoever snagged them put them to good use.

    and hopefully it was a fellow hanger.

    I have been working at the same printshop for 21 yrs now. We use to print on some tyvek sheets.(probably 25" X 38" sheets) I'll look around next week and see if there is any left on the "back" wall. There is tons of old stock and I would be willing to bet there is some back there. I can't make any promises on it being flat, but I'll let ya know. I also might be able to order odd stock from my paper suppliers. What size works best?

    Well;

    If you're Christmas shopping for me, I'd say the dumpster.

    Any! We aren't picky, and we can tape it together.
    For those times when we have to go to the ground, probably 3 x 7 or 4 x 8 to be safe.
    Thanks!
