Haha nice - my family knew exactly what mine was for. My younger brothers didn't know what to think when I asked for wool socks and underwear and a kitchen scale

Got an REI gift card and already spent it! Ordered a MSR Whisperlite for my ever improving winter setup, a repair kit for the stove, and a 20 fl. Oz. fuel bottle and a SP 600 (with hot lips).

I'm new to hanging so I got my first hammock! Can't wait for the webbing to get here to try it out! I also bought a stove and cook pot from Smokeeater908 that I absolutely love. Last but not least I purchased with my Santa money an Osprey Atmos 65!!

Being new to the hammock thing i got the early gift of an ENO Double Nest, but the better half held out on me till christmas morning that she also go me a tarp nothing fancy but it will work just fine. Other then that a new knife nothing grand just an inexpsive off brand that needs a bit of sharpening, some games and cloths and some non-outdoor stuff as well.

I received one last hammocking gift: The Ultimate Hang! I read the whole book before I went to sleep last night. Easy read. I picked up a few nice little tips I somehow missed on here.

Nothing directly hammock related, but "received" the Bark River Gunny I bought recently here from Hobie. Also received Baffin Impact boots (warm!) and a Gamo air rifle to rid the yard of pesky rodents that have a tendency to dig up the lawn and garden. I put in an order for a MLD BigStar, but you folks don't want to hear about ground dwelling...
