Hanging or hiking over the holidays?

Hanging in the local state forest this coming Friday into the weekend. Son David is home from Nevada and hope to coax him to stay overnight in the woods. He hasn't quite got the winter coat on yet

. Just enough snow in the woods to make a track and hope to have more this week.

Strongly considering a New Year's Day hang at Zaleski in Southern Ohio with a couple other HF guys hopefully more.

I *may* be doing a group hike or could be car camp nye which i'll be hanging either way, right after that I'm probably off for roughly a 4 day trip, summer here atm but probably heading to the mountains so final gear list isn't done but really just got to doctor this http://www.geargrams.com/list?id=5478

Heading out Thursday the 29th after work and returning either Friday or Saturday depending on whether a friend comes or not. Looking at either the Raven Cliff Falls loop or Part of the Art Lobe.

I know Santa is a camper because he gets me the coolest camping gear.

I'll be heading to Cape Cod for an over night stay. I'll be there for the New Year's celebration and hiking in the piney woods.

Jealous! I moved away from boston 6 yrs ago & spent a lot of time down the cape. One thing I miss about up north besides the fresh seafood. Enjoy
