I'm just about to take the plunge and order a WBBB for my first hammock. I definitely want to set it up in my backyard before I go out to the woods. (Don't want to look like a fool, laying on the ground, while my tent buddies laugh at me.
) I was planning on just burying some 4x4s with a concrete base for the test hang, but I see more posts about people building stands with angled posts and bracing. Would simple vertical 4x4s be good enough, or would the tension possibly pull them towards the center. I want a good test site, but I want to stay cheap. Just curious on what others use for test hangs.
I'm new to the hammock game so any inputs would be appreciated.
