    3 season Quilt set

    Not sure if it fits better in either quilt forum since im looking for both;
    After my first hang in october i'm completely sold to hanging.
    I was nice and warm but setting up and getting in was a bit of a hassle. I had a thermarest fullsize pad in the hammock(DD Frontline), a nomad tarvel compact bag to lay in and used my Snugpak Travel lite as UQ stand-in because tempertures were said to go to 0* Celcius. And it did

    I have been looking at the quilts from UKhammocks. Matt said his experience with a summer set is comfy at to about 5* celcius and the winter set at -10. Which is personal ofcourse.

    Camping from early spring to late autumn, i'm thinking of getting the winter UQ and a summer TQ, perhaps with 50gr extra fill in the TQ.

    Any thoughts/recommendations for a 3 season setup?

    ps, im from europe so choices are limited.

    i was thinkng of shooting you an email as it crossed my mind but i'm looking for opinions of others too. Would the 50g extra in both make the summer set warm enough for early spring/late atumn?

    I have a 20* TQ and UQ set from HG and the TQ is too warm for me..
    I am a very hot sleeper and wake up sweating in any temps so I am not the one to give advice on this matter..
    It all depend on you.. Do you sleep hot or cold?

    Suggestion: Think of the UQ as providing the same warm-enough platform you never concern yourself with in going to bed on a mattress. The mattress just is or should be warm enough all four seasons. What you adjust for warmth retention, the warmth being what your own body puts out, is heat loss on top. It is hard for a mattress to be too warm.

    UQ's should, I think, be the same. Mount it and take it for granted. A cool night means throwing on extra covers, maybe, an extra layer easily tossed on top.

    I'm a warm sleeper, a cold bed has never been an issue. My girlfriend tells me that i'm always radianting inmense volumes of heat. Not just warmth, HEAT.
