Im wondering why HH discontinued the racer models, and several others. Not only this, but ive seen yellow HH's. What is this all about?

My guess is too many models means less profit. You have to adjust to demand.

I recommend that you call them up and ask them! Like everybody in the hammock industry, these are very friendly people. Only diff is that, unlike virtually everybody else in the hammock industry, for whatever reason they don't use HammockForums.
I've only been here for a short time, but I definitely get the impression that only small 'cottage' & 'boutique' vendors are active here at HF. I don't know all the reasons, but here have been discussions here about Hennessey in the past. Exped is another 'big' vendor that isn't active here.
Many Americans are sick of seeing our jobs outsourced to the East.
Many HF members prefer to keep our dollars here in the USA supporting a movement to bring back small businesses.
Hennessy and Exped out source their manufacturing to places like Taiwan China and Korea. Is the gear just as good? Probably.
IMO that is why these companies are not as popular, have a lower resale value and not talked about as much on HF.
