Holes in nylon are easy to patch with a matching piece of nylon and some silicon seam sealer type material ... and adds character to your gear!
    Thanks Hawk-eye.
As for the repair I will leave it at that. Adds some patina to the gear.

I understand that! ha! One thing I'd suggest though is replacing your patch with a tape patch that has had the corners rounded on it. The square corners of a Duck Tape or Gorilla Tape patch eventually catch on things and become annoying little tips to catch on everything. Just a suggestion ...

    Hi Blaze,
I so look forward to your video's and this one did not disappoint.
You edit with the perfect amount of trip experience and equipment review.

For some reason I thought Denmark would be covered in snow this time of year.
Do you have warm ocean currents that keeps the snow away?

Did you burn your sleeves with your candle lantern? Because that is how I did it at the Northern Hang last a couple months ago and with the same candle lantern too. haha

I always enjoy your vids dude. Thanks a bunch for posting.

Yes it sure is. But even more in spring, summer and fall.

You are right Hawk-eye. Though “don’t fix it if it aren’t broke”, so I will leave it until it gives me problems. I recall years ago while traveling southern Europe I repaired a pair of pants with Gaba tape. The repair lasted the rest of the life of the pants.

Last year we had real winter (-21*C), but unfortunate that does not happen every year. This year it seems we are to have a lukewarm season. And yes it is the Gulf-stream that keeps us from an other ice age.

That was exactly what happened. I use the lantern to keep my tea or coffee warm (in this case only water) and touched it with my sleeve while reaching for the cup.

LOL! Four litres of water and no coffee! “Yeah, heading home, for coffee!” lol I like the green trees, must be a very damp place. Thanks for the video, BlazeAway!

Yeah, that was a real bummer. Luckily I only had half an hours walk till I was home so the day was saved.

Happy new year Blaze, great to have your vids to share in 2011 and I look forward to many more in 2012.

No coffee.... Now that's a hard way to start the day.

I too ran the Ohm at 29 just last hang and I was really surprised at how well it walked. Gotta love having your pack to talk to in the woods.

Thanks for the video and Happy New Year. I could hear the fireworks on the video.
I feel your pain; I forgot my coffee on one trip - it was a sad morning.
I've begun using wood stoves this past year and I'm worried about burning holes in my down filled clothing. I wear my nylon wind shirt over my other clothing. I can still burn a hole in that but, it's better than burning my down gear.
