If you're into cots I know I've watched a bushcraft guy make a cot with a piece of canvas and found pieces if wood. Would be easier and lighter than the rock climbing one.

Used to climb but never did big walls. 1000' was about my longest and we did it in a day. Climbing is a great sport if you get to do it away from crowds.

Being a gram weanie in those circumstances would drive me real, real, crazy. Do they make titanium amsteel 1" whoopies?

[I bet they're just lowering those guys from the top and then they'll run the movie backwards.]
