Show us how stealth your setup is

I'd like to see how stealth some of your setups are.

I'm considering getting/making a stealth hammock and would like to get ideas of how stealthy they look and which direction I should go.

Should I go camo, if so, what kind (where can I get it); or is green/brown enough?

I do have a "coyote brown" tarp from AHE, but my 'go to' hammock is ENO DN orange/gray (definitely not stealth).

    Thanks!

It's amazing how quickly stealth turns into "where did I put my hammock??". Coyote brown and/or gray seems to disappear in the forest here in FL pretty well (no camo required). With the exception of my orange reflective lines my setup will vanish in a heartbeat. I've got a forest green winter tarp that's also pretty easy to lose in the woods.

    Here's a post I made a while ago.
    Here

As far as camo goes Warbonnet is the only one I know of with camo sil.
Any "natural" color blends in the woods.

Had this set up next to the river doin' a bit of fishing. A boat whizzed by and didn't even glance my way. It looks like it's backlit, but out on the river you cant see it against the dirt...

+1 I thought it would be awesome to have a hammock setup that would keep me hidden in the woods. However, I literally couldn't find my hammock at the 2011 Fall Northern hang for over 30 minutes. I now put reflecting line on my suspension so I can find it easier.

You might want to keep in mind that you may want to be found under some conditions. If you are going to stealth your hammock and tarp you might want to consider a standout gear hammock/seat or poncho. Nothing like wanting a rescue but invisible to the rescuers.

Signal mirror, emergency blanket or a white t-shirt works well... That and a can of purple smoke...
