The JRB Hammock Hut is out.

The Hammock Hut is now available.
I saw a prototype and was very impressed.
I've been waiting for the production models to come out.
Amazingly light for its size and level of protection
    from the wind and rain.

Disclaimer: I neither work for, nor receive compensation
from JRB. I have met the Jacks, good guys.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you on that one. It certainly looks like it offers a lot of coverage, but at 1 3/4 lbs it's not lightweight or minimalist by any stretch of the imagination.

Now, I'm certain that the Hut is an exceedingly well made piece of gear and will have it's niche. Ultimately, though, I think that it's weight, price, and cavernous dimensions can only be justified for the harshest of winter camping conditions. JMO.

Ok, well... if you don't want one that's fine. Not a problem. Really. I mean it.

Here are some pictures of my new Hammock Hut. I finally got time to set it up outside and with my hammock.

Here's a link to more photos.

10' 3" ridgeline seems like it'll be short for Claytor Jungles and NX-200's or am I wrong?
