    The TI map is more of an "artistic impression" rather than anything useful. I made the mistake of using that on my first attempt at the loop, and it proved to be worse than having no map at all. (At least if I had no map, I would not have been looking for trails that do not exist.) It certainly served up some humble pie for me, but at least there were enough other pies to be had to get the humble taste out of my mouth.
    Now I need to stop talking about pie again.

    The Nat Geo map of the gorge is inaccurate in lots of ways, found that out my first trip too. The Gorge is very rugged and intricate and even hard to define where the trail goes sometimes. But on Ken's site you can get clear accurate maps of trails that have actually been explored. And they're free.

    Just registered with same name on forum as well. I've hiked up there a few times but never camped. Would love to find out more info on the Hang. Thanks
