Hammock End Strap & Tri-Glides Set/Self tensioning tarp lines

I have a Safari Deluxe HH and HH Hex tarp. Would like some comments on the JRB Self Tensioning tarp lines and Hammock End Strap & Tri-Glides Set. Also open to other suggestions. Obviously I'm new at this.

    Thanks

I use both, though my self-tensioners are DIY rather than store-purchased.

Both work very well, though I wouldn't want to use the TriGlides in cold weather with gloves on (they'd be a pain to thread). Honestly, as I'm about to do my own DIY hammock, I'm going to be using a strap/buckle system for ease-of-use.

That being said, the TriGlides are easier to attach to a Hennessy than a strap/buclke system would be. Simply use the Hennessy knot to attach the stock suspension to the loops on the ends of the straps. Cut the excess off. It's what I did, and I've yet to have any trouble with slippage. I can post a photo tomorrow, if you want.

Thanks. A pic isn't necessary. I see what you mean. So much info on the forum (which I greatly appreciate) I sometimes get concerned that I'm spending money on things that won't work as well as what I've already got. Can't afford that. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
