    How many hammocks is---

Enough? ???? I got into hammocks about two years ago and since, have made and purcharsed several others. I now have 6 all together. I have my Claytor jungle hammock which was my first. Then I got a Clark NA in camo for colder, wetter weather when hunting. Then the DIY bug bit me and I made one just to see how easy it was and found it pretty easy to do, so I made another just for the fun of it. Then one day I was looking at a local outdoor store and saw some ENO single nests. Loved the fabric these were made of. When i got home i looked them up online and found out its hard to find this type of material, so one day I'm looking on the for sale boards here and find an ENO single in great subdued colors for $30 bucks. Jumped on it like a fat kid on cake. Then right before the holidays i found some cheap camo fabric so i made another hammock for my hunting partner but he said he likes freezing on the ground. That is now residing in my gym/get home bag with a firearm, a stainless water bottle with GSI stainless nesting cup. 2 broke down MRE's with heaters and some other S.H.T.F. items. I have always been the outdoor type and have always had the "Always be prepared" mindset. However now I find myself starting all of my preparedness sessions with my hammock/tarp setup first. My question to you folks is, when will i have enough hammocks???? LOL

Anything more than two hammocks is just plain overkill.

Hammocks are like potato chips. You just can't stop with one.
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.

I'm a bit of a gear freak and not only have multiple hammocks but multiple tarps, knives, packs, stoves, lanterns, cookware... the list goes on. I suspect many here are the same.

I can easily completely outfit one other hanger, for mild weather at least. Plus I can get one other off the ground, they need to supply insulation, but they will get hammock, suspension & tarp.
    Plus; backpacks, knives, stoves, etc.

None of it is "Extra" after all, as has been asked here before: Do you count the underwear in your drawer as "Extra" just because you aren't currently wearing them?
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

I have so much outdoor gear, it has it's own room. Not to mention all the stuff in my truck, shed and garage. If my wife had any idea, she'd probably divorce me. LOL
I think I have a gear fetish. Is this a bad thing??? I think not!!!!
