Great video, seeing the Piney Barrens makes me very excited for the NJ winter hang, see you their.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

I was in Wharton on the same days in bodine field area. On Thursday it was just my wife and I and we were the only people in the site. It was great, real quiet. About midnight the coyotes started howling and were so close that I thought I would see them running through but never did. It was a great night in the Pine Barrens. The next night my brother joined us and I was disappointed that it wasn't colder but I was happy to be in my hammock. It's good to hear that other people are hammock camping in Wharton. I never see any other hammocks when we are hiking or car camping. We have spent much time in the pine barrens this past year. I am looking forward to the winter hang in Batona.

Those coyotes just take my breath away. It's such a thrill to hear them.

Yeah, he left it in the car. He brought a smaller camera on the trail that froze solid overnight, so that got him obsessing about where he had left his other camera.

He found his sunglasses case about twenty feet off the trail. What are the odds that he would wander off the trail, drop his sunglasses case, then on the return trip wander off the trail at the exact same place and FIND his sunglasses case?
