I made the gear hammock and use it as a bag suspended from the ridgeline to hold clothes. The pack hangs as well, from the biner in my suspension or from the ridgeline if most everything is taken out of it.

This is why I love my Clark so much with six big pockets underneath the hammock I store everything I need under the hammock. I put the stuff I really need close to the head end that why I can reach them with out ever rolling over to get them. ( like Pee Bottle ) on one side and cooking gear on the other side and clothes in the next pocket on both sides and such until I reach the end then all I am left with is my pack and it goes inside with me.
unless i know it's not going to be bad weather. and if it's not going to be bad weather I hang empty pack on strap with beener.

How are you dealing with your gear while in camp? Any suggestions for dealing with packs when hammocks are suspended?

    Thanks,

    Sweet

Yeah, had to take pictures of 2Questions gear organizer. It was so darn sweet. Especially how he had it hanging under his tarp. Not in the way but protected. Very nice!

Just had ZQ make a new ridgeline pocket bag. I was constantly laying on stuff in the hammock! Keys, light, mp3 player, glasses, watch, micra leatherman...little stuff I wanted close to me. Take a look at my gallery. And BTW, what's the trick attaching pictures from my gallery to this post. I've tried unsuccessfully many times. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. Help me out HC!!

I didn´t really understand how he hang it, before now.
    So thanks for that view!

    @2Questions
Some gear from Strapswork there ,if i'm not mistaken!
I got the same stuff, thought it was gonna be a darker green.
Mine is still bleaching, even after 2 washes and some rain.
But i really like the softness.

I had green hands for a week after the first trip with rain. It's been a year or so now since I went to the polyester straps and they are soft and holding up fine. My cinch buckles work well with it as well. Here's how I stow it.

Yes, those cinch buckles are great!
They cost me a fortune to ship overseas though!
$7.26 a piece in the end , but they are worth it

Your probably wondering, "What tarp is that?" I keep my hammock setup all the time in my side yard and sleep out many nights. So far this year I've got about 60 nights out. This is a heavy duty truck tarp to keep the bird droppings off. I was constantly having to deal with bird and tree crap on my MacCat, so I did this. Plus it's dark under there...great sleeping!

Like a couple of folks have suggested, would be cool to have directions/intructions as to how you made this thing. I really like it.
