Anyone here ever built a UQ where the shell was "standard" dimensions, but the insulation was only in the area that would be underneath you? Stated differently, you'd have a roughly rectangular shell, with a strip of insulation running diagonally inside the shell--2 corners would have no insulation, only shell. Does that make any sense?
I don't know that the weight savings would matter that much to me, but I think the bulk would.
