    Arrow Farrimond Friction Hitch

Has anybody used the Farrimond Friciton Hitch to tie off their hammock?
If so, was there any negatives?

I haven't, but I've used the taut-line hitch to good effect, and the farrimond hitch should be a good alternative.
It's bad luck to be superstitious.
