    My username comes from a presentation by Rich Hickey, the creator of the Clojure computer programming language, titled "Hammock Driven Development". In it, he presents a process for solving hard problems. The key part of the process is to step away from the computer, lie in hammock, and let your mind process the potential solutions. After a few trips out with my hammock, I can see that it is a great way to find inspiration.

    I finally settled on BeechGirl because I love Beech trees. I am lucky enough to live in an area where there are many Beech Maple forests. This is my favorite type of forest. Also, I love the water (I am a swimmer). So, it is also a nod to the beaches which are also near our home. I wish I could have also put some reference to German Shepherds in there too, but couldn't figure out a clever way to do that.

    MrJoshua was taken... and I was listening to a CD by on of my favorite bands (CLUTCH) while registering. 'A Shogun named Marcus' was the track so I used that as inspiration.

    Clockwork is a reference to my love of developing and organizing working gear/hammock systems that function efficiently. I spelled work with an E as a nod to Germany, where I was stationed for 2 years. They treated me wonderfully there. I then decided to change the E to a 3 as a sort of reference to Murphys' Law and how most operations don't go as planned, and even the best thought out systems sometimes go up in flames. The 3 also reminded me of a broken clock with the hands and springs hanging out. I'm a big fan of ironic humor so it stuck.
    Clockwork=Clockwerk=Clockw3rk. Yeah baby!

    Chosen to honor Lester "Roadhog" Moran and his Cadillac Cowboys. The self-deprecating humor delivered by these very talented musicians is a good reminder not to take yourself too seriously. All Righty Then!

    What? You thought I was in the habit of hogging the road?

    I'm a Star Wars fan and skywalker is always taken. So skyjacker is a bad spin off skywalker. What I didn't realize, there's a large lift kit company called SkyJacker. So yeah, I'm not associated with them.
