My name comes from a Bob Marley song lyric. In the song "So Jah Seh" Bob sings "I-n-I hang on." I-n-I, or "I and I" is a Rasta way of saying "me and my people." What better way to join the hammocking community than saying I'm "hanging" with my people?!
Slang in New England area. Both words are actually part of my vocabulary. My buddies freak out when I put them together (they from different parts of the US). Tend to use a lot of words they don't understand. Getting to the point where they know what I am talking about though! Oh and it's something that is really awesome when used together basically...
An old Ojibwe woman I grew up next to always referred to me by my totem in her native language. Ma'iigan which is wolf, so friends and family started using a slang of it and it stuck.
A canoe or trike to do most of the hauling.
A hammock to take away the bumps at night.
Now that's the way to go.
My screen name "Scarecrow" is a nickname I've been going by for approximately 12 years now. It was a tribute to Ministry, one of the biggest influences in my music career in the early 2000's as I was working on one of my solo music projects. Their song "Scarecrow" is what I had based my original style off of. Since those days, the name had stuck, and it's what I've gone by in other bands that I played for as well as various social scenes/networks that I've been a part of.

In Holland we have only 1 pornactress, named Kim Holland. Worldfamous in Holland. As as Wim is a common dutch name I thougt it would be nice to give her a brother.
Perennially unexplained affinity for the movie "Sling Blade" and of Shug Emery's imitation of the main character, Carl, throughout his YouTube videos.
I have been called Packrat since my early high school days, I collect and squirrel away all kinds of stuff for use later, an avid DIYer. and 69 is my favourite number

A lot of my clothing gear happens to be black in color (synthetics, under armor, etc) To start I built my first DIY TQ and did not think to make sure the material was down proof. I would go to sleep in my black tights, shirt and black hat. Woke up a few times covered head to toe in white down/feathers. I was told I looked like a big dumb black bird...... I shortened it to blackbird to sound cooler. Lol.

First and foremost I was surprised when I joined the HF community that there was a cool guy named Dutch that was a well known member. I didn't even know what Dutchware was. So I assume that some people must associate my name with the infamous "bling" but that's simply not the case.
My last name is Rudder and a movie came out several years ago that highlighted the vile defition of a "Dutch Rudder" and the "Double Dutch Rudder". Every since then I have been referred to by my buddies as Dutch. I just embraced it even though the association likely presents me in a gross or disturbing manner. So there's the back story.
