I am originally from Louisville, Ky. with a 502 area code.
Around '95, about the time internet became real popular, I created my first online account. At that time, I had 2 obsessions, Fly Fishing for Trout and Shooting Ducks. I was introduced to "cast and blast" by a friend, an activity where I can do both at the same time. Still love to do both, but since moving to the incredible state of Tennessee, I have fallen in love with Backpacking in the spring and early fall. For the record, I HATE sleeping on the ground, $350 insulated rest or not. The elevated swing is the ONLY choice for me! Happy Hanging from Nashville!
My real name is Robert E. Lee, Jr... My dad is Robert E. Lee, my son is Robert E. Lee, III. And, my daughter is Ari Lee, which sounds like Robert E. Lee's signature "R. E. Lee".
Mine is from my old high school nickname and last name combined. Started as my AIM screen name when that was popular and I have used it ever since.
LOL...
When I first started browsing forums, I had a friend who used MIRROR|RORRIM and I always like the idea.. Started using MIKEKIM. Other than a play on my first name, it means nothing.
On the trail I use TheAnalytic. Through-out my business life I have always been labeled as an 'analytical' mind.. I prefer 'thinker' since I am introspective and patient but not a real technical thinker..
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I like fly fishing, and kayaking. And, I like fly fishing from my kayak.
Mine kind of stuck from my "passionate" responses on various other blogs where at times I have been known to put my foot in my mouth. Sort of like "Nobody wants to be THAT DUDE !" Sometimes I am "That Dude" , but I mean no harm !!
Even though I have a graphic design business, and participate in other things like SBDC and Vet organizations people really only know me for my cycling. Sometimes this makes me sad. But I'm proud as hell that I have commuted on my bike in Minnesota for several years, even in blizzards and -20 temperatures. Plus I fund-raise for the Minnesota Redribbonride, Volunteer at a nonprofit bike shop, more hours than they are open every week and I occasionally take off for two weeks at a time on my bike, last November was actually 3 weeks.
I like bikes.
I am a homeschool mom of four young children 5.5 years apart, my life is a Four Ring Circus! I used to use what I had been using since high school, but got kind of bored with it and wanted to update it to my current stage of life...
