I like fountain pens. Pretty straightforward.

I am also a fountain pen geek, and a correspondent.

A very warm welcome to the Hammock Forums.

Spalted beech pen I just made. I make pens, fountain pens included. Love writing with those!

I used to play World of Tanks. Every user name I tried was used up. I'm 6'2" and was 325 at the time. I liked driving the heavy tanks so I went with Heavybody and it was available. It's sort of stuck ever since. So I chose Heavy Bear to keep it "out doorsy" LOL.

My real name is Billy, and back in HS we had two Billy's in my small group of friends. So we ended up being called by our first and last initial. I was BD, he was BR. It's kinda just stuck with me. I hadn't heard for a long time, than my wife started saying it every once in awhile. So it's back.

The last part "Hammock", changes depending on what I'm signing up for. Seems to be working out so far.
    See you between the trees,
    -BD

Uh, I'm a goth. Ha-ha! ROFLMAO! Oh wait, I mean LICSATL (Laying in a coffin, staring at the lid). Okay, I have no idea. I don't think I've ever blacked out. I once had a power outage for 10 days in the middle of the winter. Other than that, I got nothin'. So, it must have been some weird dream after eating too much sauerkraut and mustard where this sprang into my head. Or perhaps you can just tell by my wit (or lack thereof) that I have a dark sense of humour and I listened to too much Davey Havok and Jade Puget (don't worry if you don't get that reference).

So, what's a fat old guy like me doing hanging in a hammock? Well, you all already know the answer, "It's a hellofalot better than rolling around on the dirt with a rock in your back."

Cheers, and here's to the other bear burritos out there!

I've always loved this song from Deep Purple's album "Stormbringer".
