This make me laugh because my daughter & I had this discussion on Saturday when we were driving back to her house after taking the grandkids to Zoo Boo.

"LD" has been my nickname since I was a teenager. I've never had a choice. Everyone seems to naturally shorten my first name to 2 letters. I figured it wasn't worth fighting it so added some "E"s and a hyphen to make it look cool.

I think it's my Higher Power's sense of humor to give me the body of a mini power athlete with short legs, extra long torso with squared shoulders, and arms shorter than a person my size. Then he gave me a keen sense of hearing and smell.

Growing up I always gravitated towards miniature Dachshunds and Bassets Hounds. I see them and I see me with those short legs, long torso, and stalky build.

Hopefully one day, I'll master the one Yoda trait they have, staying in the moment.
