TRIUMPH
Go Your Own Way
Mine is a combo of my two nicknames. I am a cowboy. Own and ride horses, used to ride bulls. So some folks holler out Cowboy. And have a deep seated love of Steel. Carry one or two always. So old riding buddies would call me Blade. When I needed a handle on another forum I just added em together and took out the vowels. Nothing special I reckon, but it works for me.
Given to me by Neo when we first met hiking some years ago.
Based upon the fact I am a kids doctor and my first name is great for not being common (Quentin)
mine is because my clan/club type thing is called the "B B B" "the backpacking brothers of beautifulness" so it's kind of obvios!
Dearly And Sincerely, Jonah! of the B B B!
Well, back when I was a combat medic with the Arkansas National Guard, I picked up the screen name ARMedic on several boards for Arkansas Medic. Now that I have moved on from the Army (though I am an ER Nurse) and my hammock use is an extension of my hiking and backpacking; I adopted ARHiker.

soul is my railroad nickname, bc of my style i guess. but my hiking friends call me multipass. was on a trail in southern il and was lost.. well i was. my buddy knew where we were the whole time but i didnt believe him. i kept askin him.. didnt we already pass that rock? finally after passing what i thought was the same spot 3 times i said... dude admit it, u are lost. weve PASSed this spot MULTIPLE times now. after argueing for about 15min we went about a hundred yards around the bend and my pride was busted. later we were havin after hike drinks at a local pub laughn bout my blunder when i say... man check out that bartender, i'd make a pass at her.. he said, wow for sure man, but shes way too hot, you'll have to give her the "multipass".. and the legend was born.
