Neighborhoodguy is exactly what I never wanted to be....but when you marry a city girl, buy a house in a neighborhood, have two girls, a wiener dog and purchase your first VW Wagon you know you have morphed into the person you never wanted to become.... neighborhoodguy. But I love my family deeply and I just savior every moment I get to spend in the woods. 1983.... I was born that year.
Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.

Jake2c. Grew up on a barrier island, spent 40 years in the Navy. Life mostly spent in, on , under the ocean. Woods, camping and a hammock are way out of my comfort zone which is why I am doing it now. Just can't seem to leave the ocean behind hence the name.
Lost Woodsman...pretty simple, and no it doesn't refer to my navigational skills. Lol! I simply like to "get lost" in the woods, unplug from society and feel at home in the outdoors.

Still debating with my trail buddy on my trail name. Generally depends on how the trip is going. Lol so since I send a lot of my friends with questions about my hammock camping over here... I figured a name they would recognize. My husband goes by KD or Special K and I'm his Mrs.
I grew up on the SW side of Chicago and always had White Castle hamburgers. I ate 20 once. Now 10 is about it. They call them "sliders" but I call them survival gear!

Apparently my punny pen name isn't original; turns out a wrestler went by a 'humorous' of a different spelling.
I thought I was so clever, to come up with a Hugh Morris title...
It means I'm not intelligent enough to be called SGT Smart
When I was in the Navy a friend of mine took a paint marker and wrote "Miggles" under the bill of my cap. When asked why he said "because you're always mumbling and giggling!" and the nickname stuck.
